i think my biggest takeaway from halo campaign evolved is that if you love a game (or any artistic work) you should hold it near and dear to your heart however you can. share it with your friends and family (this includes piracy), memorialise it with photos, screenshots, savefiles whatever, or just talk about it. halo can never happen again because the context that it originally existed in also can never happen again. that doesn't mean that there's no value to keeping that memory and joy alive. in other words: i should play more xbox 360 games with my dad
