Paks, 1979 Workers on the construction of Hungary's only nuclear power plant located in the town of Paks on the Danube river, some 120 kilometres south of Budapest. The plant is about to be shut down for the first time its 44 year history due to low river levels, meaning there isn't enough water to cool the reactors.
