The goal was great, but you were going backwards. Just because you had a good goal doesn’t mean you were walking the right path to get there. There definitely needed to be some self reflection here, both from the guy that though putting a DDoS into the software was in any way a good way to prove you stood on the moral high ground and from the communities that thought death threats were the appropriate response to this situation.

the goal was not great… silencing thousands of people and communites and hiding that from users is not great. Nothing great about it. As for his little “death threats and doxxing” lines. Take it with a MASSIVE grain of salt. He provides no evidence of this and has proven that he’s not above lying to manipulate people. Basically, I don’t buy it and don’t trust anything he says… based on the evidence of him lying and not being trustworthy, like hiding a list of people to censor, lying about it, creating a hidden DDOS script, etc etc etc. If you still want to listen to him when he says “people sent me death threats” you’re letting him get you again.
