I understamd this is awful, but why tf are people still having children in a war zone? Having kids these days is a terrible decision most of the time with things the way the are. I couldn’t imagine also being in Palestine and thinking it would be a great idea to have a kid in the middle of a genocide. How are guys still getting it up anywhere much less Palestine?

They don’t have access to food, I doubt Israel allows them contraceptives. It’s easier to manipulate people if you can threaten their children.

@ScoffingLizard@lemmy.dbzer0.com @geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml it's a way to resist, and a way to have hope in the future, even if it seems awkward. Palestinians are fighters in their souls. And I chose not to have children. But it's a complicated choice.
