This morning I got the news that an old friend lost his battle with cancer. Since moving to the U.S., I've lost touch with most of non-close friends. Nevertheless, still stings.| He was HUGE, while I was one of the shortest kids in high school. Somehow we became friends. He stood up for me more than once, we used to sneak out for cigarettes together, and he was also the first close friend I had who ended up in jail over fistfights. Good memories. RIP.
