@evdelen@mstdn.ca I do understand why people are turning away because I know am very annoyed with our media. I don't watch tv news, no tv, but nearly every day when I open a web page I start cursing the corp owners because local/regional/ even national news is sparce and American news dominates . If I wanted US news I could easily find it, every Canadian tv picks up primarily US stations! And Postmedia! Our news outlets are a mess. So yeah, we have a media failure🫤 Thanks Harper! 🙄 more...

@evdelen@mstdn.ca addendum I am not sure how to fix this either. Maybe we could start with, No Foreign Ownership, and that includes companies with global headquarters outside of Canada.
