Mama cat when I'm in the cat room for any reason other than feeding the cats: oh I'm so hungry, I'm wasting away, I've never been fed in my whole entire life, please, just one morsel or else I'll fade away!! Mama cat when I enter the cat room to feed her: I must ponder the mysteries of the universe. Food is not a thought that has ever crossed my mind. There is so much more to explore and want in the world than just food. (I have to pick her up and cary her to her food to remind her of how starving she is and then she eats all her food and then cleans the three other plates her kittens were eating from)
