@kyleve@mastodon.online ...and only it's gotten so much better since: better models, better surrounding tools (amazing harnesses, insanely good code review agents, or remote control where you can check in on – or build entire things from your phone). I know the "10x engineer" thing is a cliche, but I feel comfortable landing amounts of code today that would have been literally impossible a year ago; and I feel very good about the quality – it's *not* slop. If anything, it's catching things I would not. (2/n)

    @kyleve@mastodon.online I think a crazy benefit of these tools that will ultimately help us triangulate on better software is they unlock something that was always very expensive: You can answer your "what ifs" very quickly. "What would it look like if we built this tool and migrated the UI to it?" "What would it look like to convert app startup to a different process?" You can get a prototype out in an hour that may have taken weeks before... And then see it and be like "yeah!" or "never mind" (3/n)
