People are usually falling all over themselves to help me when I don't need it or just want to try to figure it out, but today was not that day! The lyft driver helped me to reception but couldn't help me get to the floor or place I neded to go. I was a little early, so I waited for someone to show up at the desk but nobody did. I even tried to call up to the place where I needed to go to have someone come and get me, which has worked before but nobody picked up in the amount of time I needed, so I found an elevator on my own and up I went but there was noone on that floor so I used Aira and just as the agent and I were figuring out where to go, some guy showed up and got me on the right track! All this to say that I'm glad I'm resourceful because I could have been that person stuck forever just waiting for someone, and having to hold the phone out in front of you is definitely not on! As the Brits say. I'm just waiting for Google glasses to come out! Or the Echovision final hardware version that hopefully won't still feel like it's going to fall off my face at the slightest jostle.
