I know nothing :) about nothing phone (I have a Fairphone). But the other top Android alternatives are:
Lineage OS
iodé @iode@mastodon.online
/e/ OS
Calyx (if you don't mind waiting for their return, they have an Android 16 test build now, so I expect within a few months)
YMMV for compatibility with various phone brands. My pick right now would be /e/ OS, but I'm waiting for the new Calyx.

@tasket@infosec.exchange @iode@mastodon.online AH, I was wondering what ever happened to Cyanogenmod; I used to run that on my (I think) LG G1 back in the day. I see LineageOS has a build for the Nothing 2 A065 (my phone model), so I think I'll give that a try when I have some time to flash it. Thanks for the info!
