Kevin Smith, who took the GOOD WILL HUNTING script to Miramax, says the studio had two full scenes shot by Michael Mann before finally giving the project to Gus Van Sant. And I am now legitimately wondering what those scenes look like

Miramax also offered to let Smith direct it if he wanted to. I am less interested in what that would have looked like
