Er van uitgaande dat Signal gebruikt maakt van de locatie service die Android standaard gebruikt: als Android, dan Google is dan toch geen vreemde keus?
Bovendien is er een groot verschil tussen Google Maps gebruiken en het promoten.

And still, why would #signal promote a bigtech platform, while they *could* should promote open standards? Using a specific option of another vendor is in my world promoting it. An open standard would open Google Maps on your phone, on my phone it would open Comaps. Both the maps option of our choice. That's the option Signal should promote or use. #useopenstandards
