I remember it as the Year And A Half from Hell because I lived in near-total isolation the entire time (I saw other human beings in person a grand total of 2 times from march 2020 to june 2021), and the social life I'd managed to build up before got completely destroyed, and my mental health took a plunge it's never come out of.
But it was still the right thing to do.

@datarama@hachyderm.io The isolation was rough and what I had of a social circle at the time withered and died. But I also learned during that time just how much my supposed friends cared about me and I came out on the other side with a new gender, a therapist, and a lot more self-love so... win? @gwynnion@mastodon.social
