I was fucked up when I went in, and I was more fucked up when I came out. Then the AI boom started and everything I spent most of my life doing started feeling meaningless, which took away the one thing I was clinging to. I still have a job, but it has become incredibly depressing and I expect it will soon be gone.
At this point, I really just mostly feel like I wish it would all soon be over. I can't keep on like this.

@datarama@hachyderm.io I hear you. I'm getting increasingly depressed about tech as well. It's sad when you start taking comfort in the fact that your contributions are insignificant. (At least I'm not making it worse!) I still have some hope that there's something on the other side of this but I don't know what it is. @gwynnion@mastodon.social
