@G33KatWork@infosec.exchange @azonenberg@ioc.exchange VRR is *obviously* very important and the other stuff too, but it seems like a major hole for Wayland not to have some key features. It’s the burden of a potential successor.

@tom_verbeure@mastodon.social @G33KatWork@infosec.exchange yeah its fine to have a new stack with new features, what's not fine is to deliberately not implement features that every other platform has. as far as i'm concerned wayland does not have feature parity with X yet, and with current development priorities it likely never will as they're not trying
