@randahl@mastodon.social As a dane, I am particularly incensed that the danish government has attacked the spanish one in this situation, showing none of the solidarity it got from all the other EU countries when Denmark was attacked by the US trying to take over Greenland.

@randahl@mastodon.social When or if the US turn back to a reasonably normal democratic nation, they will still be eyed with suspicion. The damage they have done to international relations, especially with their former allies thrown under the bus so swiftly and willingly, will be felt for decades.

@randahl@mastodon.social I wonder more about the reaction of other EU member nations: Ceuta is not part of the Schengen region, so why does Italy (but also Germany's Friedrich Merz) get all revved up about this?
