so... i participated in an election cycle organizing session with other reasonable humans (a.k.a. progressives / communists / socialists / anarchists) and it felt encouraging. i know two humans running this cycle for different city councils in my area and am doing things. do you live in the u.s.? are you a reasonable human? do you have a care for this mortal coil? are you responsible enough to be held to account? be honest about oopsies and change your strategy based on new information? serving your neighbors on city council in many places is as little as 6-10 hours a month or as much time you you want to invest. this is a very competitive cycle for reasonable, non-monied humans to win local elections and serve. if you even have a twinge... and want another human to bounce ideas and whatifs with. i would be happy to dig into the details with you and see if there's an open seat you are eligible to run for. you > magats : ) #usPol #solidarity #doTheWork #rainbowCoalition
