RE: https://tech.lgbt/@ShadowJonathan/117024949575123389 We've had lots of debate about AI generated stuff around here lately. Notably about if it should be marked and how. Perhaps, @neatnik@social.lol looking at this new EU regulations could be a good point of inspiration. It seems like a fine system, with degrees of nuance and everything. :prami:

@neatnik@social.lol Additionally, I'm thinking that perhaps, all content should be labeled to eliviate doubt and make things clearer. Like: 🤖 Generated by AI:prami_retro: Partially generated by AI:prami: Human made:bunhdlurkaww: Bunny made (:3) Something like that. Having a label for everything takes away all doubt. Maybe have an explanation for all when you hover over the label. Something like that. The nuances would be something like: 🤖 Generated by AI Something entirely made with GenAI or mostly made by GenAI. It required no to minimal user intervention past the prompting. So for example, generating an entire blog post and fixing a sentence or two in there still falls under this label. :prami_retro: Partially generated by AI Something that was partially generated by AI, but with extensive work from the creator. That's the difference between a fully vibe coded piece of software and somebody using AI to auto complete what they're typing. So the difference between these two labels is: 🤖 If genAI did most of the job and the user helped... or :prami_retro: if the user did most of the job and AI helped (and no, spending a lot of time finding the right prompt doesn't count). :prami: Human made No AI was involved in the creation of this whatsoever. :bunhdlurkaww: Bunny made bnnuy :3
