Well, there's the crumbling fenders on the "what drivers have done" -side. They used to be more about protecting the car than the pedestrian.

@iju@mastodon.social @RadicalGraffiti@todon.eu What newer car do you think is more about protecting pedestrians than an older car? Because all I see is higher hoods, lower visibility, and heavier cars. What are these magic fenders you’re talking about? And is that a sacrifice for the driver?
