@dynamyc@nyanya.gay i do all of this instead of using nix like normal people would but im basically just making my own scriptable dotfiles configuration system that affects the exact apps i want it to and its portable/space-lightweight so i can bring it to servers like a bag on a stick, unlike some tools like pywal and a big etcetera of things this would replace for me despite the ridiculousness its not actually "difficult" to maintain, its just dotfiles, ive been using chezmoi templates for other things for a long while and i usually fiddle like this for a couple days and forget about it the rest of the year (nothing has retroactively broken before) but side effects do include very funny looking code gore like toml data -> template -> more toml data or this ridiculous combination of a template and script that runs when i edit the palettes file (actual chezmoi feature)
