@zanzi@mathstodon.xyz perhaps one should be thinking of non-competitive sports, where one is merely establishing one's personal best, or beating some goal, but not competing for a prize. Free solo climbing, for instance.... @johncarlosbaez@mathstodon.xyz @peterwoit@mathstodon.xyz @mc@mathstodon.xyz
