Probably lost most of their volunteers updating things, and paying people to do it would mean less potential profitability shown to potential buyers, as well less as profitability from any current subscription features. They also ignore a lot of critical data which isn't quite official enough. Eg, the leadership dropped the ball on known early warnings from first responders regarding homes on fire in Altadena during the LA wildfires last year.
