"Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has called on the government to approve the construction of three settlements on the northern fence of the Gaza Strip. In a statement on X, Smotrich, who also leads Israel’s Settlements Administration, said Israelis are returning to previously evacuated settlements built on seized Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank.
