@Sustainable2050@mastodon.energy Saw one of these LNG tankers today, passing by the German North Sea coast island that I'm spending my vacation on. Like almost all the big vessels, it spewed a long trail of yellowish smoke (thought sulphur is mostly banned from ship fuel nowadays? It looked sulphur). This corner of the North Sea is so packed with vessels waiting for entry to the German harbors that the complete horizon has a yellow-grey smoke layer before the actual 'sky' begins above that layer.
