"UK's Supreme Court to hear Palestine Action's appeal against ban
👉Following the announcement, Amnesty called on the government to "end this sorry saga now by withdrawing the proscription."👈"

"The ban - which has led to more than 3,500 arrests, according to police and activists - puts the group on a government blacklist that also includes Palestinian militants Hamas and the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.
Those detained have included senior citizens and Holocaust survivors.
Following the announcement, Defend our Juries, a legal rights group which has been vocal against the arrest and charging of those protesting the ban, said on X, "Time to stop the madness. Lift The Ban on Palestine Action."
Amnesty International welcomed the move, saying "we have long said that the banning of Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation was a grave misuse of sweeping counter-terrorism powers with serious consequences for human rights."
"We welcome the decision of the Supreme Court to grant permission to appeal, but the Government should end this sorry saga now by withdrawing the proscription," it added."
