@tris@chaos.social I feel like the argument I make is rather around the lines of
"Someone gifted me a non-vegan product, do I use it or throw it away"
and this is highly controversial in vegan circles, but nobody is gonna shout at you for either.
Heck nobody is even gonna shout at you for buying second hand leather products if you have the needs for that for some reason.

@juliank@mastodon.social Sure, receiving a non-vegan gift and using it is a separate argument from choosing to consume non-vegan product regularly just because someone is giving it to you (for free or cheap?)
