In my Apple “Switch” commercial, I said, “I used to bash Macs, but that was more a move out of ignorance.” That ignorance was me parroting John C Dvorak’s quips. I stopped reading his cynical column in 2001. Mac OS X was not only a better OS, the Apple community had commentators like Jack Miller (“As The Apple Turns”) who wrote with optimism and wit.
