'This carved stone plaque was found in St Francis' Row in Cashel, and it is believed to be the sign for a tavern that was known as 'The Cat & Bagpipes', that once stood on the main street of the town.
It may date to as early as the 16th or 17th century, and offers a wonderful glimpse of Cashel's social life from centuries ago.'
