Reporting: We bought my HP Pavilion 15 (2021) in 2022. I also helped upto three friends choose PCs this year, at least one considered a Macbook, with ML considerations, but not really LLMs. My own cousin bought his top-of-the-line desktop build last year. For Blender, possibly Unreal (there is a dislike for Unreal, but maybe it got picked up again...!) and new JRPGs. My IRL network therefore concludes that the LLM-runners are actually quite few...!
