I read about AI taking disability into account when ranking candidates, do we think this is rumor or has evidence yet been presented? (2/2)

I want to mention that by continuing to fill out self-identification forms honestly, I am adding myself to the trackable data showing that people with disabilities are out there applying, trying to get hired -- that we're not sitting at home living off the government. Most of us don't even qualify for government support and even if we did, we'd rather work.

@castastrophe@front-end.social The market is just awful. I used to have scouts knocking at my door and whenever I started looking I was able to choose between many good alternatives. Now I don't hear back from most places I apply. Ageism is a thing in this industry., but AI has made everything go to s**t. The downward spiral is very steep.
