I'm a bit late to the boat, but did anyone notice the globe on the World Cup trophy? Am I absolutely nuts or is Australia a bit "off"? It seems to have gained a big island in the Gulf of Carpentaria or it could even be the whole of northern NT has fallen off into the Torres Strait!? There's an extra promontory off QLD, and WA looks a lot more "western" than it already is. The cup doesn't depict the southern coast of Aus, so they didn't have the opportunity to leave TAS off. #Maps #WorldCup
