Greetings fellow mastodonians- It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything but since I share a birthday with MLK I thought now’s a good time to reach out. I have to say I’m going into this new year incredibly anxious about the future of the US as well as all free societies around the globe. With trump’s reign starting tomorrow, here’s a snippet of a recent post by Marc Elias, Democracy Docket: “We know the contours of how bad Trump 2.0 will be. Tomorrow we will get our first glimpse of the details. Expect them to be worse, in every respect, than you think possible. They will be both grander and pettier, more bone chilling and more outlandish”. At least we know we’ll always have free ideas and free speech here in the Fediverse. Enjoy your #silentsunday
