Ah, I really miss the old web. Especially mid-2000s era. I feel really lucky to have worked as a professional web dev during that time, it was such an incredible time. It seemed like it was all coming together. But then of course social media herded everyone into a few locked down experiences, and smartphones made everyone stop using PCs on which the web shined. In about a decade all that creative energy just kind of dried up.
