What’s the deal with notion that American AI data centers are noisy very noisy due to cooling? I’ve walked past Telia’s Helsinki data center in summer time, and it doesn’t make noise, smell, or emit visible fumes. It’s the size of a city block and there’s a regular sidewalk right in front. Just better design and/or regulation or fundamentally different hardware inside? (It’s likely more CDN servers than GPUs, but both require some level of cooling.)
