I bought a cheap record player a few weeks ago to play some old #vinyl LPs. I didn't expect the strangely liberating feeling that no #corporation knew what I was playing or when & had no way of logging the information on my account to sell advertising at me. Not edited, remastered or autotuned to soulless 'perfection' either. Just me & my music. Alone with no other lurkers. I'll still use streaming to listen to random stuff but my collection music is vinyl now.
