Since #Caturday either is already here or is imminent, I have to announce a scientific result that I suspect is not original (especially given the number of catologists on Fedi), but still important to have in the scientific literature somewhere: Cat toe beans can operate modern mobile phone touchscreens. At least, based on a sample of one phone (a several-year-old iPhone), one cat (Loki, shown below), and one action (simple scrolling). Clearly, more research is needed. 🎓
