@joelpomales Reclassify them as the entertainment businesses that they objectively are. If they want to claim non-profit status, let them file the appropriate paperwork. In any case, they should pay the standard property taxes that support fire departments, police, road repairs, garbage collection, et hoc genus omne. Allowing income tax deductions for donations to churches, synagogues, mosques, etc, should definitely stop, since religious businesses don’t have to show that they are charities.
