On the subject of Lisa Cook's continued employment, yes, I also think monetary policy should remain independent from political influences. Our approach to science should absolutely mimic that, including environmental science. This sudden partisan swing has done exponentially more monetary and economic damage to the US than a fickle Fed. #usfederalreserve
