Another misericord carving from 1480 in the Oude Kerk Amsterdam shows a face with three eyes and two noses, referencing the old Dutch saying "two fools under one hood" (stupidity loves company) . Supposed to be funny, on the creepy side of funny I'd argue. #art #amsterdam #netherlands
