In Cornwall. (False) factoid for the linguistics nerds: This old cemetary close to the fishing village Mousehole (pronounced Mowzel, *not* Mouse-hole!) holds the last fluent native speaker of Cornish, Dolly Pentreath, who died in 1777. Apparently there have been others who spoke it after her, but none were as good. #science #history #england #cornwall
