to be fair gravity is pretty wild too but like its simple its intuitive. things with mass attract other things with mass and the more mass they have the more they attract things. thats pretty simple and applicable to basically everything that matters (badum tiss). magnetism on the other hand is like so specific to just a handful of elements that didnt even exist when the universe came to be but rather required many stars to come and go before the universe was seeded with magnetic elements
