@kumi@cuddly.space while only 10.000.000.000 are public funds and I think the idea behind it interesting and a good idea. Also there should be budget for both in the overall 1.200.000.000.000 budget of the EU, that's the budget of 2021 till 2027. Establishing local AI capabilities would be really great for the EU, but I think 10.000.000.000 is not enough to cause any significant improvement in this regard.
