FUN FACT: I've stopped doing RAM and SSD upgrades on new Minifree orders since 28 July 2026. Someone can send me their RAM/SSD to install if they want, when ordering, or I now simply provide instructions for the user to upgrade it themselves if they source the parts themselves. Yeah, finding parts at a reasonable cost is a full-time job, due to AI-driven price gouging of memory since late 2025. OpenAI can burn - and it will. I read recently that nearly one trillion US dollars was wiped off of AI stock globally. May the crash come soon, so I can get RAM cheap again maybe in 2027. I was selling upgrades at cost, but I recently decided to simplify my business so now I just do basic 16GB RAM / 240GB option. This means I can also do machines more quickly in bulk, rather than build-to-order. Just more efficient. Here's a meme:
