Is it genuinely easier to use this as a frontend than pleroma or soapbox forks?

for me it is just different not really easier. I really prefer the feel over the TL stream. I do check in with the mitra-web front end every so often, but I'm 99% using chan-fe especially after the API changes were upstreamed today it doesn't feel like I'm forcing the shape so much anymore. And there's stuff that isn't anywhere else that does make things way easier for my BS (account switching) and probably other stuff Im forgetting
