Declining stocks actually led advancing stocks today 54.1% to 41.3%. The major indexes largely disagreed and only the Russell closed down for the day:
DJIA +276.97 (+0.53%)
S&P 500 +52.09 (+0.70%)
NASDAQ +251.68 (+1.00%)
Russell 2000 -14.76 (-0.50%)
My portfolio agreed with the broader market and closed down 0.07%, losing to everything but the Russell.
