@slims@famichiki.jp I sat in a curry place the other day where they stored a lot of their ingredients in the customer area, and was also surprised to see the curry packages you'd find in the "Asian" supermarkets anywhere in the world. But then again, I feel like the curries and menus here are all very similar in both taste and presentation. It is the same phenomenon with the Chinese restaurants back home that all serve a very specific taste and ambience... Quite different from a Chinese restaurant here.
