As good as Wi-Fi has gotten, there really isn’t anything better than using wired connections for some devices. If my previous Ethernet connection where I needed it was 1GB I might not have minded, however, it was only 100Mbps, so that was untenable. I ran a new cat6a cable and it’s now the proper 2.5Gbps for my desktop.
