@silvermoats@mastodon.social ah thanks much! i initially wanted to use the VZ-10m for this set but was having issues with one of the outputs, & it's a bit of a pain to program. working more with it now tho.... but no that's a curious connection for sure. SK-1 was my very first musical instrument, so those sounds are buried deep in my head for sure, probably more accidental that some of the percussion here came out w/ that flavor. all the drums were EssenceFM tho, which can get a little of that 80s/90s sheen.
