Even the simplest one, glasses vs contacts, varies between people. why does it have to be designed like that tho? That sound it plays is a choice to make it unusable after said "trial". Dark patterns are ALWAYS a choice to implement. Just make it a hearing aid and if you think it ain't right, go back. Don't make it play random shit in someone's ear. In the same way we don't just put shit in people's vision when they need glasses or make their wheelchairs wobbly after 2 weeks... we shouldn't play unnecessary chimes in people's ear when the "trial period" is over. If this is a hot take, so be it.
