#Scheme is my top desert island programming language, and one of the reasons I've been shipping Clojure code for the last ~17 years is that it's approximately a commercially viable scheme dialect with an active community†. These days, I'm seeing less commercial interest in Clojure and really great work being done by schemers, like: https://www.spritely.institute/hoot/ ... and wonder about going home 🤔 † don't get me wrong, I like the immutable data structures and concurrency primitives too!
